SwapMe helps people find each other to swap things. Swaps are between the people involved — we don't own, inspect or guarantee any item, and we're not a party to the swap. SwapMe is free to use.

List only things you own and are free to give away, and describe them honestly — including any faults. You're responsible for your listing, even where we helped write it: check what we filled in from your photos before publishing.

Value estimates are rough guidance, not valuations. Uneven trades are allowed; deciding what something is worth to you is up to you.

Anything illegal to sell or give away, weapons, drugs, alcohol and tobacco, prescription medicines, animals, recalled or unsafe products, counterfeits, and adult content. We may remove listings that break these rules, or that people report, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do.

When you accept an offer, say yes to a match, or turn on auto-swap and a matching swap is found, you're committing to hand over your item. Please follow through, or call it off promptly while you still can.

Agreed swaps have 7 days to complete. If they don't, they lapse and items go back on the market. Not turning up is recorded against your reputation.

If you meet in person, choose a public place and take sensible care. Drop-off points are run by third parties; use them according to their opening hours and rules.

Rate swaps honestly and comment on the swap, not the person. Keep contact details, links and anything abusive out of comments and replies. We may hide comments that break these rules; the rating itself still counts. Don't trade favourable feedback or rate from more than one account.

Be honest and respectful. Don't harass anyone, try to scam anyone, or use SwapMe to sell for money. Don't misuse reports, create fake accounts, or interfere with the site.

We work hard to keep SwapMe safe and running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren't responsible for the items swapped or for what other people do. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under US or Nevada consumer law that can't be excluded.
